Poppy's is an independent wool and craft shop situated in the picturesque market
town of Pocklington, 15 miles from both York and Beverley.
Opened in 2006 the shop reflects the passions and the personality of the owner Trisha Brant.
Every item is selected personally, so the shop covers many areas of crafting; including
rubber stamping, jewellery making, card making, cross stitching and tapestry. However,
the main areas of interest are definitely knitting and scrap booking.
We have a full and varied range of yarns and patterns from spinners such as Rowan,
Wendy, Regia, Patons, and Debbie Bliss to mention a few and try to cater to many skill
levels, as well as many budgets. It's hard to know where to begin or end describing our range of paper crafting suppliers, but
just to name drop a few; 7 Gypsies, Basic Grey, Artoz, Eno... you get the picture!!
We can also supply a range of kits for tapestry, cross stitch and knitting.

The shop is bursting at the seams but there is always room for just one more item.
A bit like Mary Poppins' bag!! We work really hard at keeping our range up to the minute
and can talk about it until the cows come home, so if you'd like to ask us anything please
